Junior and Juvenile members to our Club.

Our Subscription Rates are as follows:

Junior member (7 – 13 years) €25

Juvenile member (14 – 18 years) €50

GENERAL INFORMATION FOR JUNIOR AND JUVENILE MEMBERS

Club Information:

• The Juvenile Notice board, which is situated near the squash courts, contains information relating to many aspects of Juvenile activities, including Juvenile playing times, competition results and latest news, etc.
• The Club’s website, www.thurlesgolfclub.ie, is an excellent source of information and is regularly updated with latest news items, results etc.
• You can also follow us on Facebook.
• Thurles Golf Club is committed to safeguarding children. Please make yourself and your child aware of our Child Safeguarding Policy and the relevant Children’s Officers.

Course Information:

To protect our course, we encourage the 3R’s:

• Replace divots
• Repair pitch marks
• Rake bunkers

Junior Coaching

Junior Coaching takes place every Saturday from 2pm to 3pm with our Club Professional Raymond. Please contact Raymond at (086)8140292 to book a place. The cost per session is €7. Coaching is open to members and non-members.

Practice Facilities:

• Practice facilities available include a practice area adjacent to the 14^thhole; two practice greens are situated at the front and rear of the Clubhouse; chipping and bunker practice facilities; a driving net is situated near the entrance.

Juvenile Competition:

• Juvenile Competitions are held on Wednesday mornings during the school holidays at 9am. Our Junior Summer competitions commence on Wednesday 5^th June and run until Wednesday 28^th August 2019. We encourage participation.

Golf Shop:

• The Golf Shop provides a wide range of golf equipment and accessories. Our PGA Club Professional, Raymond Ryan is available to assist and advise on your golf equipment and clothing requirements, lessons and junior coaching. It is also the first port of call for enquiries and competitions.

Snooker:

• Snooker has been re-launched and is proving very popular amongst the membership. Please note that juvenile members must be accompanied by an adult member at all times.
